The health and safety of our employees is essential to the company.
In all our operations we carry out a series of health and safety prevention, awareness, and management programs and practices, including continuous health and safety training actions.
We work to ensure the health, safety, and physical, mental, and social well-being of all the people who are part of Adecoagro. Occupational health and safety are an issue of utmost relevance to us.
We have an Occupational Health and Safety management system for all Adecoagro’s employees and facilities.
100% of our employees are reached by this system, which is subject to internal and external audits.
We have a Safety Executive Committee for our Sugar, Ethanol, and Energy business and a Safety Committee for each unit.
Our Operate Safely Program focuses on improving processes, methods, tools, and indicators, and includes preventive, awareness, and behavioral measures in agricultural, industrial, and administrative operations.
We have a behavior observation program, WTA (Watch, Think and Act), for the employee to use whenever he finds an unsafe behavior or condition. With WTA, we began to act preventively on behavioral deviations, based on an approach methodology that aims to sensitize the employee about the risk of unsafe behavior, making him think about the possible consequences and the importance of being safe at work.
In our Farming business, we launched a 4-year Health and Safety strategy, with 6 pillars that will guide the processes and actions carried out in this area.
Our management includes internal and external audits, risk analysis, OHS (Occupational Health and Safety) Committees and ongoing training.
