OIA - Animal Welfare Certification granted to Carmen Farm

The Organización Internacional Agropecuaria (OIA) certifies the application of good livestock management practices prioritizing the welfare during the life of our cows. It guarantees compliance with practices that promote animal welfare in our production, such as: freedom from hunger, thirst, malnutrition, pain, injury and/or disease. This certification ensures that our cows have the freedom to manifest a natural behavior.

Certifications for Monte Alegre organic sugar.

We have obtained organic product certificates that allow us to trade organic sugar, molasses, and ethanol in Brazil, the United States, Canada, the European Union, Japan, and Korea. The use of traceability procedures guarantees the origin and reliability of our final product. In this way, our customers can be sure that the product is manufactured with a high level of quality and in a natural way.

We obtained this certification for our production at the Monte Alegre plant (MG), Morteros dairy plant, and peanut plant.

It certifies that the products have been manufactured in accordance with the legal requirements and the criteria established in Islamic laws and jurisprudence, guaranteeing a production in line with the rules established by the Islamic law (“Sharia”), which governs the habits of those who follow Islam.

We have obtained this certification for our production at the Monte Alegre (MG) plant, our sunflower plant, our San Salvador mill, and our Franck mill.

It ensures that the industrial process of a production line complies with the specific rules of the orthodox Jewish diet and that the products have been manufactured in accordance with the precepts of the Jewish diet and laws, guaranteeing the safety of their consumption.
